About

My name is Wit, I’m 24 years old and I work as financial analyst in Frankfurt on Main (Germany). I possess a bachelor with honours in business administration. I am fluent in 4 languages. As English is not a language I have much experience with, I hope you will bare with me if you don’t happen to like my writing style or if you find any errors in my spelling.

I have been introduced to options by my brother, also a banker, years ago. With careful trading in small ammounts he managed to reach very high returns, trade after trade.

Today I develop tools that will allow me to control/understand my own trades better. I make them available to others through this site.

The blog you see today provides information and tools about basic to advanced trading/hedging strategies with options.

The Straddle Calculator includes a small variety of useful features for going long with a straddle or a strangle. It includes:

  • a graphical output of your Risk/Profit-Profile
  • dynamic presentation of loss/profit at each part of the graph
  • calculates break-even points
  • calculates maximal loss (risk)
  • provides help by pricing the options with the black-scholes model
  • Scaling/Moving the graph
  • Probabilities Analysis (Chance that the underlying stays within specific limits)
  • Probability of Profit
  • etc.

The program is daily under development, I’m glad to get any helpful feedback. You may just post a comment to get in touch :)

I also announced a new software to simulate dynamically the profit/loss for any portfolio with options. Beta version is coming soon!
